After you have entered your zipcode the hardiness zone for your city and state will be shown. You can then click on the Zone link to go to the Plantmaps.com website to find our more about your hardiness zone.
Most apple varieties are happy in zones 5-7, and with a bit of care many can be grown in zones 3-4 (colder zones) or zones 8 and above (warmer zones).
