Find your hardiness zone

Your plant hardiness zone identified how cold average winter minimum temperatures are in your location, and this determines which species and varieties can survive.

Most of the fruit tree varieties we grow are suitable for zones 5-8. We also have many varieties that are able to tolerate the colder winters of zones 3-4, and others that are able to tolerate the mild warm winters of zones 9 and 10.

The definitive reference is the USDA plant hardiness zones, which were updated for 2023.

You can view and download hardiness maps on the USDA plant hardiness website, or search for your zip code.
